420 King, a delivery in review
Being a California medical marijuana patient there are all kinds of options when it comes to obtaining your medicine. I had always been a storefront buyer, never dabbling in the delivery services available. After Marijuana was legalized for all on January 1st, I thought it was a good time to try one out. I've driven past the long lines and have no interest in standing and waiting for an hour or more. I checked out weed maps.com and 420 King was available in my area (Hollywood), had good reviews, with a large selection of product. I texted a photo of my medical card and ID to the number listed, the dispatcher responded very promptly and I placed an order via. They informed me it would be 60-90 minutes, cash or crypto only. I said cool and was excited. 420 King has a lot of name brand flower along with edibles, concentrates etc. They offer 2 free pre-rolls with the first order and a free pre-roll for every order after. I selected a variety pack of concentrates, flower and a couple pre-rolls. After waiting the 90 minutes and then some, I still hadn't seen the driver, I texted the dispatch and they informed me the driving would be arriving in 15 minutes. They showed up around the 2 hour mark. I received a text to go out to the vehicle the dispatcher described to receive my delivery. I handed a gentleman my payment and he gave me a tidy brown bag full of fun. While I wasn't particularly thrilled about the long wait, the product was great, and so were the throw-in pre-roll's. I particularly liked the "Space Monkey Meds" Girl Scout Cookies flower, which I'll be writing a review on very soon. All in all a good experience minus the wait time.
